As owner and operator of Athletic Edge, Lal has dedicated himself to making Athletic Edge THE PREMIER provider of sports massage in the triangle area. Graduating from Medical Arts Massage School in Raleigh, NC. in 2001, his hard work and experience have given him the opportunity to work some very elite athletes - UNC Mens Football team, Ironman triathletes, Mixed Martial Arts fighters, and Ultra Runners. His intensive training on the human anatomy has not only helped him treat his clients, but helped him recover from his own injuries. Lal continues to expand his knowledge of the human anatomy, understanding holding patterns in the skeletal/muscular structures, and learning techniques that help prevent and speed the recovery from various injuries. His commitment is to continue to develop his skill as a therapist and to surround himself with other like-minded professionals.

Andrea Lesondak, LMBT # 8846
Andrea has her Bachelor’s degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College & during her senior year she discovered the healing power of touch through massage therapy. Her passion to help others heal through massage, lead her to train at Massage Institute of Maryland, where she graduated in May 2007. Andrea is a weekend-warrior athlete, who’s love of massage & the human anatomy have taught her much about attending to the needs of her own body while training for sprint triathlons, 5K & 10K Runs, Century & Metric-Century Road Rides, and 24-Hour Mountain Bike Races. She strives to apply this knowledge & self-experience to benefit other athletes for optimal training & racing. She is constantly working to expand her knowledge of massage & human anatomy. This year she hopes to complete her training and receive her Certification in Medical Massage with Ralph Stephens at the Body Therapy Institute in Siler City, NC.
